About Design
The Higonokami is a traditional and highly functional knife, originally designed for everyday use.
In this interpretation, Goran preserves the classic silhouette while introducing a modern liner lock and top flipper deployment. The result is a refined balance of heritage and innovation — maintaining simplicity, practicality, and efficiency in a more contemporary form.
About Designer
Goran Mihajlovic, born in Serbia, has spent over 25 years living in the Amazon, based at the Tanimboca Natural Reserve. He is a skilled bladesmith, knife designer, and wilderness expert, with extensive knowledge of rainforest survival.
In addition to his work in knife making, Goran serves as a field production manager, supporting national and international film crews with logistics and location management in remote jungle environments.

Damascus steel with its distinctive layered pattern offers exceptional edge retention, remarkable toughness and excellent daily wear resistance. Modified reverse tanto blade with precision swedge delivers strong piercing performance and steady control for everyday tasks.
Rooted in classic Higonokami styling with iconic Chikiri lever for smooth one-handed opening. Slim, low-profile shape enables discreet carry, ideal for refined everyday carry.
Copper carbon fiber construction provides lightweight strength, secure texture and unique warm metallic styling, perfectly matching the black wash blade.
